The Sunday Post is a 'meme' created by Kim over at caffinatedbookreviewer. I came across her blog a while back and absolutely fell in love with it so definitely go check it out. I decided that I would participate in this every week simply because it will help me not only keep track of my blog but also it will add more personal information about me for you. So without further ado my first Sunday Post...
Me and my boyfriend have recently been going to the cinema a lot lately which is big for me considering I hate the cinema. We most recently went to watch, Baywatch, The Mummy and The Pirates of the Caribbean : Dead Men Tell No Tales. Baywatch = Rubbish. The Mummy = Pretty decent. Pirates of the Caribbean = Didn't live up to my expectations. At the start of this week I spend a lot of my time and effort planning different posts for my blog in order to get back into it again. It's safe to say I've missed this so much.
Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Today I have work. Been working 12 hour shifts so haven't had a lot of time for my reading. In Westonbirt there has been a concert from Thursday until Today (which is where I', working). Thursday was Elbow, Friday was Olly Murs who was not too bad actually, Yesterday was Rick Astley which I really freaking enjoyed and today will be Craig David. It been a hard couple of days but the weathers been nice and considering I'm outside, I'm not complaining.
Also Happy Fathers Day!!

Wow, 12 hour shifts, that's brutal! Hang in there. Also, Dark Matter is something I really want to read.
ReplyDeleteYeah it's so hot wearing the uniform too. All done now though.
DeleteI really enjoyed Dark Matter. Do you work a 3 or 4 day workweek in exchange for the 12 hour shifts? I love concert events and we rarely go to the movies. I will be going for The Dark Tower (Stephen King) in August. Hope the week ahead is a good one with reading and blogging :)
ReplyDeleteI'm super excited to read it. I work for a company that does cash taking and parking cars etc at different events so we do whatever we events we want to do but they are usually between 7 - 15 hours shifts. I want to read some Stephen King novels because I've heard they are amazing. Any recommendations of what books I should start with for him?
DeleteThank You, you too :)
Sorry you didn't enjoy any of the movies you've seen. Have you seen the new Wonder Woman movie yet?
ReplyDeleteHere’s my Sunday Post!
Ronyell @ Rabbit Ears Book Blog and join in this week’s Book Photo Sundays!
Not seen the Wonder Woman movie yet no but will probably see it soon although I'm not into the super hero/villain stuff but it does look pretty good.
DeleteI'll be sure to check it out, thank you
I haven't seen Baywatch, but I saw the Mummy...I had expected so much more, it had so much potential! I was really disappointed with Tom Cruise, I didn't like his character. Loved the Mummy's character though. She was awesome. I felt the same about Pirates. Felt like the same thing over and over again.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a more relaxing week this week and you get some reading in.
Here's my Sunday Post :)
Yeah the Mummy could have been a lot better than what it was. Plus I completely agree with what your saying about Tom Cruise' character!! The Mummy herself was crazy good though I think she was my favourite, wanted more from her though still.
DeleteThank You, you too!!
I'll be sure to check it out :)
I thought Pirates of the Caribbean was pretty lackluster too. Kinda over those. Dark Matter though I thought was awesome! Hope you're enjoying it. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd welcome to the Sunday Post.
Yeah the older ones were a lot better though I still like those. I'm super excited to get into it heard great things about Dark Matter :D
DeleteThank You!!!
I didn't like The Mummy at all but I'm hoping to like and The Pirates of the Caribbean Glad you missed blogging and that you are back :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy it. Thank you, it's been fun making posts again and changing my layout etc. :D
DeleteI am planning on picking up Girl in Pieces once I finish my other TBR's. Any good?
ReplyDeleteI have also been going to the cinema a lot lately. Been kind of a let down though.
It was amazing!! I got a review for it on my blog if you're interested, it's spoiler free :)
DeleteYeah, I recently went to see the transformers movie though and I actually really enjoyed it. Hoping to go see Wonder Woman tomorrow with my boyfriend!!
Oh I like Olly Murs and Craig David! Bummer about the 12 hour shifts though. Hope you find some time to read!
