Fall in love with the international bestseller from queen of young adult fiction, Stephanie Perkins.

That is, until the Bell twins, Calliope and Cricket return to the neighbourhood and unearth a past of hurt that Lola thought was long buried. So when talented inventor Cricket steps out from his twin sister's shadow and back into Lola's life, she must finally face up to a lifetime of feelings for the boy next door. Could the boy from Lola's past be the love of her future?

So this book is the second book in Sephanie's series starting with Anna and the French Kiss which I actually really enjoyed. I of course enjoyed this book hense he 4 stars but it wasn't as good as the first in this series I don't think.

To start off, this book is about Lola who lives in San Francisco with her two parents. Lola is an incredibly talented girl who when it comes to creativity. She's all about her costume instead of dressing casual she dresses out of the ordinary in different costumes and wigs. Lola has a boyfriend Max who she adores. Everything is going great until the two Bell twins move back in next door. Lola has a history with the Bell twins which she wished would never be brought back up again but as due to their moving back, she is forced to face them.

I thought this book was a little slow at the start and didn't really care for the characters all that much. As I got more into the book I appreciated the characters a lot more and understood a lot of their decisions. I thought it was cute and fluffy and just a really great ya contemporaneity to get me back into reading again.

I fell into a little bit of a reading slump this month mainly because I feel I only read one really great book other than this one which made me whole reading experience this month sluggish and just not very great. However this book changed that for me and made me want to delve back into the reading world and I'm thankful for that.

I think Stephanie's writing in this was great and I adored the scenes with Cricket and Lola I mean awh come on he's adorable!!!
