He steps up the game, but before the battle of wits can really begin, a family emergency distracts him. But even though Light isn't using the Death Note right now, someone else is! Who's the new "Kira" in town?

I really enjoyed this book, maybe not as much as the first two but still really enjoyed it.

This volume follows Light and L's battling continence of trying to work on the Kira case as well as Light trying to hide the fact that he is Kira. I love where this story is going and there are times where you think how on earth is he going to get out of this one but then the twist comes and it's like omg I want more. Of course you know it's not going to be the exact end because there are so many more books but I do find myself second guessing a lot as to what's going to happen and I appreciate that in a book because it makes me think and makes me more intrigued to find out how the characters are going to get out of the hole they have dug themselves into (AKA Light killing criminals and finding ways of not getting caught).

I also loved the introduction of a new character at the end because it made me want to read the next books even more.
